Disclaimer:

It is your responsibility to be safe while wearing any fursuit. Always have a spotter or handler, as well as drink lots of water to decrease chance of heat stroke and dehydration.

Buyer uses any and all suits (partial or full) at his or her own risk. Pawsome Furries assumes no liability for any personal or property damage caused by improper use.

General Policies:

Completion times:

I will give a time frame in which a commission will be completed. This is NOT a guarantee (for a guaranteed time, see rush commissions). I will do my best to get the commission done within an appropriate time frame, however, sometimes things happen that are not in my control and the commission may take longer than expected. If this is the case, I will keep the customer informed as best I can to when the suit(s) will be completed.

Rush Commissions:

If a commission is needed for an event shortly after the order is placed, I can offer rush shipping. I will do my best to have it finished and sent out before the date. There is a 30%-45% rush fee and expedited shipping charge of $50 to $200 depending on type of suit. Please see chart below for minimum amount of time needed and what the rush percentage is. Rush commissions are only available if I have no other commissions or current commissions agree to a hold on theirs. Rush orders are only available in the US. Rush commissions require a minimum of 75% deposit to start commission.

NO REFUNDS for cancelled rush orders. No exceptions. PF is not responsible for delays due to the Post Office or COVID-19. Refunds will NOT be issued due to PO delays.

Refunds:

Types:

Commissioner Cancelled before completion:

If you cancel the commission after making the deposit and payments, it will be redesigned and (ONLY if sold) you will receive a partial refund. Amount refunded is based on the amount paid. Initial deposit of 40% is non refundable. An additional amount of 20% of amount paid up to the cancellation will also not be refunded.

Commissioner dislikes after receiving:

If a suit has been approved and sent out, there are no refunds. If there is a problem with the suit, please see the warranty information below. If you have changed your mind or just don't like it, you are welcome to sell the suit. I will NOT take the suit and issue a refund.

Cancelled by me for personal reasons:

Very rarely do I have to cancel a commission due to personal reasons. If this is the case, I will do my best to refund what I can right away and the remainder once the redesigned suit has sold. In this case, only the 40% is not refundable.

Harassment Issues:

If I have to cancel a commission due to issues with a customer, you will not be refunded. I do not tolerate harassment or bad mouthing. These are only a few reasons I might cancel a commission. I am an easy person to work with and have no problems with people changing the design or asking me to fix something. Please just be polite about it. If I find someone too difficult a person to work with, for whatever reason, your commission will be cancelled without refund.

I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone or to cancel a commission of anyone.

Do you accept trades?

When I accept an item for trade, the item I am trading will be made first (if I am making the item). Once the item is completed, the person trading must send off their half of the trade with tracking. When I receive the tracking number, I will send my half of the trade with tracking. If no tracking number is provided, I will send my half when I receive the traded item.

If I am not making the item, then the traded item must be sent with tracking before I send my half.

There are no exceptions to this. I am happy to send additional pics and video proving ownership and condition, but I will not send my half of the trade first. Even if we have traded before. If you have something you would like to offer for trade, please email me at pawsomefurries@gmail.com

Copyright policy:

I will not make a suit out of a copyrighted character. There are too many laws and red tape when it comes to copyrights. I am told that Pokemon and My Little Pony do not have issues with people using their images so I might be able to oblige any who want these to be made.

Also, real life species and mythical animals (Pegasus, dragon, chimera, etc.) cannot be copyrighted, so if the character is based on a real animal, I may still be able to oblige. I am sometimes willing to bend the rules.

NO Disney characters. NO exceptions. Sorry.

Closed species will not be done without the written consent of the owner of the species.

If you have something you'd like me to make and aren't certain, you can always just ask me.

Premade Suits

Occasionally, I will have premade suits. Often times, though they may be new, they have been sitting in storage for while. Due to this, they may be a little bent and out of shape. Also, they might have a bit of fuzz or lint on them from sitting. This is nothing to worry about. I do brush out all my suits before sending, but I may have missed something. If you give it a gentle cleaning with a lint roller or some tape, it'll be just fine. All my suits are built to withstand almost anything. There are no refunds on Premade suits. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Re-Selling Suits

If you decide that you want to sell your suit made by me, I have no problem with that. If you as the buyer wish to resell your suit for whatever reason, I only ask that proper credit be given  as the maker and you don't make a profit off of my time. If the buyer or person that buys the suit secondhand wishes to alter the suit, that is to the discretion of said buyer. Please bear in mind, that any alterations void all warranties on the suit also warranties are not transferable. When reselling the suit, please take your own photos of the suit as it is at the time you are selling it. Wear and tear can make the suit look different than the original photos, it shows that you do indeed have the suit also many of the photos are paid for by me in a photo shoot with a professional.

Photos of Work/WIP

When you order a suit (custom or artistic liberty), I will send TONS of WIP pics. I will not continue work until I receive the go ahead from you at each step.

I reserve the right to use any and all photos taken of the work, either suits or artwork, for promotional purposes. I will only use photos taken by me. Photos that are taken by the owner of the suit or artwork are the property of the owner and I will not use without permission. If given permission to use, I will site where, when and by whom the photo taken.

Allergy warning!:

All my projects are made and stored in a smoke-free home. I have two sugar gliders, but they do not go into my work area.

Minors:

While I have no problem with someone under 18 owning a suit, I, unfortunately, cannot sell to minors. However, I can sell to a legal parent or guardian on the behalf of the minor. The legal parent or guardian will have to fill out a form provided by me and all payments must come from the parent or guardian's PayPal or bank account. I do, however, offer ONE free resize of a suit made for minors. Buyer must pay shipping both ways. Restrictions apply, contact for details.

Warranty:

Everything here is all handmade, and I am always happy to hear when I’ve done a great job on a suit; although I know that it isn’t always the case. I strive to make good quality items, but without test-runs, I cannot be 100% certain that there are no irregularities. In lieu of this, I am happy to fix any problems that may arise. I suggest, to save time and trouble, that the suit be taken out for a test-run before using it at the designated destination. I ask that the shipping be paid for (to and from the buyer); however, I am happy to provide the repairs at no cost provided they are small repairs and do not require extra material. The warranty is limited to 90 days from date tracking confirms delivery.

Fursuits are not made overnight and are a long and delicate process; please show some patents. WIP pictures will be sent periodically and upon request. Please allow up to 48 hours for a response to emails.

Adult Suits:

Though they are made to highest possible quality, the suits are designed for casual usage (attending functions, dancing, plays, Halloween, generally having a good time) and not rough housing or “adult play”. I do not and will not make adult suits, so don’t ask. Any damages or alterations done to suits for whatever reasons will void any warranties on the suit and I will not repair them, so please don’t ask. Once you buy the suit, it is yours and you are free to do with it what you wish, just keep in mind that I will not repair suits that have been damaged heavily or altered in any way.

Extra Materials:

Any and all extra materials will be kept by me unless otherwise stated in the buyer's contract.

Non Payment/Communication:

If no payment or communication is made in three weeks, I will send a reminder to which ever form of contact that was used to place the order. Only ONE reminder will be sent. If another two weeks goes by with no payment or communication, I will cancel your commission and no refunds will be issued and I will keep whatever work has been done and materials ordered/sent. There will be ONE warning for the commission being canceled.

Shipping:

Unless specified, all items are shipped free within the US. International  shipping is an additional amount that is calculated upon checkout.

All items are shipped wrapped in plastic and placed in a box. This is to ensure that any water that may get through the box does not ruin the item. Often, the box may seem small for the suit. I assure you it is not. The box is smaller to make sure the suit does not get knocked around inside. This said, I am not responsible for how the box is handled upon transit. All come with tracking and insurance. If there is a problem with your item upon receipt, please contact me immediately. If the problem is due to the shipping, I will contact the company that shipped it (most likely USPS) and explain the issue. If it is not due to the shipping, see the warranty information above. Buyer will receive a tracking number with an estimated delivery date. Once the suit has left my possession and has been given to the shipping company, the location is out of my hands.

Shipping Insurance:

Included insurance through the USPS is $50. This is enough for the suit to be shipped back within the US if the issue with the suit was due to shipping. If you would like more insurance added (the value of the suit) there will be an additional cost.
