The changelings's oath

This isn't your typical coming of age story.

​

Seventeen-year-old Caleb’s life wasn’t what anyone would call ideal. He’s hated by most of the students at the school for no other reason than he’s different; he is constantly bullied by everyone, even those younger and smaller than him, and he couldn’t get a boyfriend if his life depended on it. Still, he has two loving parents, a big brother that always looks out for him, and a best friend who would go to the ends of the earth for him. 

 

All that changes one fateful night when something attacks him and his family. Now his parents are dead, his brother is in critical condition, and he’s physically changed drastically.  

 

After discovering that he is a changeling, a supernatural animal similar to a werewolf, he goes to live in a town of paranormals and falls for a male vampire (Garrett Killian). He meets other supernatural creatures, including witches, shapeshifters of all different kinds of animals, fairies, trolls, other vampires, and other changelings. 

 

Garrett's father hates changelings and wishes to eradicate them from the Earth. They learn of a prophecy that will come to fruition on Caleb’s 18th birthday, which also happens to be the first night of the full moon for that month. 

 

The culmination of the entire book comes down to a major battle in which Caleb, Garrett, and their followers face Garrett's father and his followers.
